Florida has five of the Top 150 business colleges in the nation, according to the new U.S. News & World Report annual rankings of best colleges.
In addition to ranking the colleges for their overall performance, the survey of nearly 1,400 colleges and universities broke their performance down for undergraduate business programs.
U.S. News further broke down the performance of business colleges by degree programs. Several Florida universities shined in these areas:
“FIU Business has been committed to excellence in international business education and research for many years and we’re delighted to see the undergraduate program receive its highest ranking yet from U.S. News,” said Joanne Li, dean of FIU Business. “This ranking is a testament to the strength of our faculty members and the academic programs we offer in this area.”
U.S. News & World Report considered academic quality measures, such as graduation rates and retention rates, plus donations from alumni, in the rankings.
